A distributor of international luxury brands connected IRIS to Sage 100cloud and moved from Excel ordering to validated proposals in four weeks.
The challenge
Orders were built in Excel from a weekly stock export, then retyped into Sage. Best-sellers ran out during launches while slow references piled up. Supplier lead times were not measured, and testers were consumed without allocation.
What IRIS changed
IRIS was connected to Sage 100cloud for items, stock by warehouse and transit warehouse, invoiced sales and supplier orders. Forecasts were calibrated on 24 months of history, proposals ran in parallel with the existing process for two weeks, then purchase orders were created directly in Sage with the IRIS reference.
